Who can apply to become a BYOU expert?
BYOU welcomes coaches, therapists, beauty, fitness, nutrition and wellbeing professionals whose work fits the platform and whose experience and qualifications can be presented accurately.
Does it cost anything to apply?
No. The expert application is free and does not require payment details.
Is my profile immediately public?
No. Your profile remains private while BYOU reviews the application and profile information.
Can I join if I only sell programs?
Yes. An approved expert can be visible with eligible published programs even without one-to-one availability.
Can experts offer retreats?
Eligible retreats can be presented with clear dates, location, capacity, inclusions, suitability information and relevant terms.
Can I offer online and in-person services?
Yes. Experts can identify supported delivery formats and locations for each eligible service.
Do I need Stripe before clients can discover me?
Payment readiness and profile visibility are separate. Eligible credit-bookable offers may remain available without Stripe Connect, while card payments require the applicable setup.
How do clients find experts?
Clients can explore expert profiles, services, programs, availability and relevant categories. Complete information makes fit easier to understand.
What makes a strong expert profile?
A professional photo, clear specialisms, accurate location and languages, a thoughtful story, current qualifications and well-structured services.
Can I bring clients from outside BYOU?
Yes. BYOU provides profile and sharing tools experts can use with their network, content and professional partnerships.
Can I choose my own availability?
Yes. Experts control availability and should keep it current so clients only see genuine options.
